Cut pork shoulder into cubes and put into a large mixing bowl
Mix all spices and pancake syrup in a separate bowl, pour over pork
If desired, marinate 2 – 4 hours
Remove from oven, pork should be fork tender and easy to shred. Enjoy!
* Alternatively, you may combine all ingredients and cook in a slow cooker on the high setting for 4 hours, or low setting for 8 hours
