Janet’s coaching approach focuses on healthy eating, physiological wellness, and quality physical activity. Janet is passionate about educating clients about the benefits of weight loss and also believes that addressing why weight gain happened in the first place is critical to long term weight management.
Janet graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in Nutritional Science and Dietetics and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Janet has also completed many continuing education programs with coursework in the specific concentration of Obesity and Weight Management and is in the process of becoming Board Certified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also certified in yoga instruction by The Yoga Alliance.
Janet loves helping her clients become healthier, both medically and mentally. When she’s not working with clients, she enjoys keeping fit herself. In her spare time Janet has fun mountain and road biking, hiking, traveling and taking yoga and fitness classes. Her motto is “Enjoy each and every day of life to the fullest because we are never promised tomorrow”.
