Maddie’s passion for nutrition started several years ago when she began her own personal wellness journey. When Maddie was in college, she was a student athlete and a classic over achiever.
Maddie’s sophomore year was especially difficult as she struggled with anxiety and stress related illnesses. She attributed her symptoms not only to her demanding schedule but also her poor eating habits. Once Maddie changed her diet and started to incorporate movement into her daily routine her mental and physical health improved dramatically.
As a health coach at EMP 180°, Maddie hopes to educate her clients on the impact that a healthy diet can have on overall health and well-being. She believes in a balanced approach to health and strives to educate her clients on the importance of mindful eating and having a healthy relationship with food.
Maddie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina. She is a Certified Integrative Health Coach, and is currently working towards earning her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition and becoming a Registered Dietician. Even though Maddie is from Florida, she is a huge Capitals Hockey fan. In her free time, she enjoys working out and indoor rock climbing, being outdoors and travelling.
